It’s that time again! If anything, this has truly been a season of surprises for the varying quality of the superhero series that we’ve witnessed. I can give you fair warning, this year’s list will be much different from our previous entry. While we have some stalwarts entries such as the Flash, Arrow, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. making a return, we also have some newer entries in the forms of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Legion to name a few. While his original appearance in the MCU was in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man Homecoming marks the young hero’s first solo outing in the world of the MCU proper. Taking a page from The Breakfast Club, Homecoming sees Peter struggle with being a superhero while also attempting to be your average New York high schooler dealing with girls, friends, and extracurriculars. Standing in his way is Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes, aka the Vulture, looking to make himself rich off the spoils of the …

The recent D23 Expo, aside from revealing new information about Disney’s slate of upcoming animated and Star Wars films, gave us new details about the upcoming Marvel Studios epic, Avengers: Infinity War. Infinity War promises to begin to put a bow on the first chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that began ten years ago with Iron Man. Aside from showing new footage from the film, the expo also revealed that Josh Brolin’s villainous Thanos won’t be fighting the Avengers alone—he’ll be joined by his henchmen, “The Black Order”. The Order is made up of …
